DELIVERANCE OF THE FEET

Deliverance of the Feet, Pt. 1

About this message

In this message series, Dr. D.K. Olukoya explains the Deliverance of the Feet to us and why we need it. Enjoy!
In Romans 10:15:
...and how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

KJV, American Edition
The bible passage above tells you that human legs are divided into two categories: (spiritually) beautiful feet and (spiritually) ugly feet. The feet of those who preach the gospel of peace are beautiful while there are some feet that have negative messages. The Psalmist understood this principle as seen in Psa 22:16:
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet

KJV, American Edition
I pray for anyone whose hands and feet have been pierced by the enemy, that they would receive their deliverance in the name of Jesus.
If they pierce the hands and feet, you know the effect physically. There are some places that you go to physically, if you don't come back home and start breaking curses off your feet, you will get into trouble. Unfortunately, most times the feet is neglected in spiritual warfare. Most times, what we concentrate on are washing and anointing our heads, but the feet is very important.

There is an expression in the English language about developing cold feet, which means you are backing out of something; you are changing your mind. Another expression is foot in the mouth, which means you are saying the wrong thing; something that is not appropriate. Yet another expression is put one's foot down, which means to be firm and strong. To foot the bill means to pay. To get on your feet means to get established. To step on toes means you are talking about things others would rather not talk about.
In the scriptures, a woman came to Jesus, poured anointing oil on His feet and began washing His feet with her hair and kissing His feet as a form of reverence. In the bible, when it says, 'put your feet on the neck of the enemy', it means you are defeating the that enemy.
In Psa 8:4:
what is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

KJV, American Edition
The mystery of the feet is something that many Christians don't understand. As far as Heaven is concerned and as far as God is concerned, your feet has been empowered by God to establish your dominion. If your feet have a problem, shame and disgrace is the outcome. There are plenty of people with cursed legs.
There was a man we prayed for many years ago when we (MFM) were at Old Yaba Road. He was going to work in the morning and as he was going, something got stuck to his sandals. He pulled out his leg and the sandals fell. As he proceeded to wear his sandals, he stepped into hot feaces and said, "What is this?" So he rubbed his leg on the sand (to get rid of the feaces), but right from that day, his life totally changed. Nothing good was coming again, bad luck began to trail him. That day when he got to work, he got sacked (fired).

I am praying for anyone whose leg is cursed: By the power in the blood of Jesus, every curse upon that leg, BREAK, in the name of Jesus.

So, in the bible, when it says put someone under your feet, it means subjection. When the bible says, they bruised the heels, it means attack. When the bible says, tread upon something, it means subduing and conquering that thing. The bible says I have given unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and to tread upon every power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you", but if there is a problem on that foot spiritually, it will not be able to establish your dominion. Technically, your legs are the symbols of your possession; instruments of your establishment. Once your feet are blessed and beautiful, hinderance will give way at the presense of your feet. Your jordan of hinderance will give way once your foot is blessed. Your foot is also your instrument of protection and direction. It could be an instrument of deliverance as written in Psa 25:15:
Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net

KJV, American Edition
Your feet are also your instruments of your expansion and progress. In Psa 31:8:
and hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room

KJV, American Edition
Your feet are the keys to your establishment and ability; keys to establishing your dominion over your enemies. Therefore, your feet are weapons of warfare. A polluted, weak or paralysed feet cannot succeed in the battle of life.
